We’re excited to share with you the formal launch of Nomac Built - a building company in Hobart, specialising in small to medium sized projects.

Nomac Built was founded by two passionate builders, Zak and Tom, who share a vision of transforming the construction landscape in Hobart, Tasmania. With over 20 years of combined experience, they have identified a significant gap in the market for high-quality builds and renovations.

Their commitment to excellence is evident in every project they undertake, ensuring that clients receive not only a high quality finished product but also a seamless and enjoyable building experience.

At Nomac Built, the focus is on clear communication and transparency throughout every building project. Zak and Tom understand that renovations and new builds can be daunting for clients, which is why they prioritise a collaborative approach. From the initial consultation to the final handover, they work closely with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

The Founders' Background

Zak's journey in the construction industry began as an apprentice, where he quickly developed a passion for building. Over the years, he progressed through various roles, including supervisor and project manager, ultimately becoming a quote estimator.

His dedication to quality and attention to detail is evident in every project he oversees. As Zak puts it, “I have an obsession with excellence, and I strive to deliver the best product possible for my clients.”

Tom, on the other hand, has spent most of his career on the tools, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of construction. His transition into project management has given him a keen understanding of costs and budgets, allowing him to provide clients with accurate estimates and timelines.

“Being on the tools gives me a full understanding of everything that’s going on,” Tom explains. “I want our clients to feel confident in the process from start to finish.”

The Nomac Built Approach

At Nomac Built, client satisfaction is at the heart of everything they do. They believe in fostering long-term relationships with their clients, ensuring that each project is not just a transaction but a partnership. Their planning process is thorough, incorporating visuals and comprehensive documentation to ensure clarity and understanding.

  • Detailed Planning: Nomac Built provides clients with detailed plans and specifications that outline inclusions and costs. This approach minimises gaps in quotes and helps clients make informed decisions.
  • Quality Control: Zak and Tom are hands-on throughout the entire process, ensuring that every aspect of the project meets their high standards. “We want to deliver a good product from start to finish,” says Tom.
  • Client-Centric Philosophy: Their commitment to quality and communication sets them apart from competitors. They aim to make the building process as stress-free as possible for their clients.
