This ensuite renovation was all about crafting a space that feels timeless and warm, seamlessly connecting to the home’s modern farmhouse character. The Nomac Built team worked closely with the clients, stripping the room back to its bare bones and rebuilding it from the ground up, with a focus on long-term functionality and quality finishes throughout.
The original layout featured a raised screed entry into the shower area, which created an awkward and uneven transition. We removed this and replaced it with a new level floor for improved usability. The shower zone was reimagined with a new nib wall that includes a hidden niche for storage, along with a built-in shower seat topped with matching stone to complement the vanity. The basket weave floor tile adds intricate detail and depth, while the reconfigured layout and carefully selected finishes create a refined and functional space.
A standout feature is the custom Tasmanian Oak vanity, crafted locally by WD Crutch Joinery and finished with a stone top from Renshaw Stone. Accented by gold tapware and hardware throughout, this design ties everything together with warmth and contrast.
