Not always, though you'll be without a working kitchen for at least part of the job. We plan the sequencing to minimise how long that stretch runs and talk you through what to expect before work starts.
Can you keep some of my existing cabinetry to save on cost?
Sometimes, if it's in good condition and suits the new layout. It's worth raising early, since mixing old and new cabinetry works better with some layouts than others.
Do you handle moving the plumbing if I want to change the layout?

How long does a kitchen renovation usually take?
It depends on the extent of the layout change and whether services are being relocated, from a couple of weeks for a straightforward swap-out to longer where plumbing and electrical are moving. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we've scoped the job.
Will the rest of the house be affected while the kitchen's being renovated?
Generally we can contain the disruption to the kitchen and immediate surroundings, though this depends on the layout and whether structural changes are involved. We'll flag anything that spills into other rooms early.
