A major kitchen and garage renovation that opened up the home into a large, functional entertaining space - with a custom Tas Oak benchtop upstairs and a bar and adults' retreat downstairs.
Upstairs, the kitchen was redesigned into a galley-style layout anchored by a 4.1 metre custom Tasmanian Oak benchtop finished in Fiddes wax. The space now flows openly and makes the most of the home's northern light and outlook.
Downstairs, what was a disused garage has been converted into a bar and adults' retreat - a properly finished entertaining space the clients have been using flat out since handover.
The renovation has completely changed how the home functions, adding better flow, long-term usability and a lot more enjoyable space for the family. Zak and Tom managed the project from concept through to completion, making sure every detail matched what the clients had in mind.
