A walk through the Doyle bathroom renovation in Hobart. This one started with a burst water pipe. Once the insurance process was underway it made more sense to remodel the whole bathroom properly rather than patch up the damage and leave the rest as it was.
The finished room has a 1500mm Timberline Nevada wall-hung vanity with a Haven benchtop, a 1200mm Timberline Denver shaving cabinet, a generous walk-in shower with a recessed niche, full-height tiling and underfloor heating. Roughly 8.5 square metres, finished in 2026.
The standout is the Illume skylight. It has been designed to read as a traditional window, so the room gets proper daylight without giving up any privacy. It is a small detail that changes how the whole space feels.
