In April 2026, the Nomac Built team reached a major milestone on the Bruny Island project - all foundations are now complete and a burnished concrete slab has been poured for what will become the living room.
Working on Bruny Island comes with its own logistical challenges. The whole team was on the 6 o'clock ferry to get on site ahead of the concrete pour, the boom truck arrived shortly after, and by the end of the day the job was done.
Over the next couple of weeks, the focus shifts to floor systems, wall framing, and roof frame installation - the stage where the build really starts to take shape.
